Born February 26th, 1938 in Sofia.Graduate from „St.Kliment Ohridski“ – University in Sofia, in Bulgarian Philology. Professor at the Institute for Bulgarian Language of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciencies (BAN). Doctoral degree in Moskow. Bulgarian language lecturer in Cracow, Sosnowiec and Lublin, Poland. Member of the Council for Bulgarian Studies Abroad of BAN and of the Bulgarian Scientific Union. Bulgarian representative in the International Committee for Linguistic Bibliography of the International Committee of Slavistists.
