Summary
This article offers a review of various activities in the field of Bulgarian Studies in the Czech Republic after 1989. It describes the research achievements of Czech bulgarists in palaeobulgaristics, linguistics, historiography, anthropology, etc., as well as the current state of Bulgarian studies as a subject in Czech universities. It draws also attention on the Bulgarian-Czech cultural relationships and on the popularization of Bulgarian culture in the Czech republic. The article is followed by an exhaustive list of bibliography. |
