The first author, Jack Feuillet, pays attention to the problems faced by the French scholars dealing with Bulgarian linguistics during the last decade and so. He also provides some recent bibliographic information. Refferences to the latest publications in the field of Bulgarian studies in France could be found in the report of E. Foulliaron from Institut National des Langues et Civilisation Orientales (INALCO), Paris. All together with the the problems related to teaching Bulgarian to foreigners and native Bulgarians at the very Institute, she discusses some of those of Bulgarian diaspora and the activity of Bulgarian church community in Paris.
