Summary
Thå essay deals with the history of arise, evolution and the present situation of Bulgarian Diaspora in Ukraine. The author offers a review, based on Bulgarian, Russian and Ukrainian sorses, of the stages of Bulgarian migration from Bulgaria to Bessarabia and Crimea. The reasons of this migration are analyzed too. In order to save their mother tongue and culture Bulgarian migrants brought to Ukraine their traditions and life customs, which are also described by the author. There are many researchers who think that Bulgarian Diaspora of Ukraine has saved national culture even better than Bulgarians who live in Bulgaria. We think that this essay will be interesting to the representatives of Bulgarian Diaspora and to anyone who is interested in Bulgarian culture and history.
